Be careful though. Apple has announced that if a phone has been hacked, and the user downloads the software upgrade that will be released soon, it will damage the phone. I think it is a bluff to discourage people who buy the iPhone and unlock it but nonetheless it is worth it waiting to see if there are any reported damages caused by the software upgrade.
