The cool new set!

itlw-setIt isn’t completely fine-tuned yet but here is an idea of what the new set for the webcast edition of “In the Line of Wire” looks like.

Isn’t it cool? … and don’t miss the mugs! The MacBook Air is mine of course. Thanks CIO. It looks great! Maybe I will quit my day job and just do this😉 But then you will have to pay me🙂 otherwise how will I live and eat? In fact, come to think of it, anchors are paid triple digit salaries. How come we are doing this for free? I think I will form a union with Salman and the “mysterious” anchor of Cool Tools and we will picket the CIO Pakistan office😉.And where are our dressing rooms with the star on the door? Don’t you know how to treat your stars???

    Hey what great ideas!

@Ammar, yup a chair with my name on it would be rather nice.

@Fariha, Salaina is right. Food is readily available as long as you ask for it. And coffee even if you don’t ask for it.🙂

perfect example of corporate networking. Now CIO is paying for a Blog? not to forget CEO of another company! Way to go!

@Minhaaj, surely you jest. CIO is certainly not paying for this blog nor are they paying the CEO of another company. I think that it is great that CIO have given us the opportunity to highlight the Pakistani ICT sector using their platform. Over the next few months I expect to highlight many of the great things that companies and individuals are doing in the ICT sector – to show the diversity and talent that exists.

@Farhan, is the chair too small you ask? No not for thin people like me😉

Awab, I am looking forward to seeing your show – when is the launch date? I think this is a great platform and the more people who contribute, the more diverse the content. Good luck!

Great looking set … I was just thinking that you could also do these interviews at the guest’s office. It would make the interview more unique to each guest …. add more character to the whole thing. It would also allow you to do a short tour of their offices if they’re doing something worthwhile that could be caught on camera.

Something similar to interviews by Robert Scoble😀

@Arfeen, strange that you should say that because I am headed for Islamabad tomorrow and I am going to record some interviews in a few offices and then connect them through an intro on the set. It will, as you say, give me an opportunity to visit the offices and see what cool stuff they are doing.🙂
