P@SHA’s ICT Awards are in their sixth year and each year we try and add a new dimension to the event.
This year the P@SHA Events Committee has decided to launch the P@SHA Tech Crunch Gong Award in which companies which have developed applications for the mobile and financial space will be given the opportunity to pitch their cool product or service to customers, peers and technologists and have the opportunity to win a nominal US$1,000.
If you have just launched a product or service or have an existing one that you want to highlight, visit the P@SHA Awards site and apply for the opportunity to present at the P@SHA Tech Crunch Gong Award 2009!

Great show Jehan.
So that is a free two thousand dollars that you could get by just pitching your idea to prospective customers and judges on the 14th. I think side by side with the Sofizar Constellation Award, this is the first time that PASHA ICT Awards include real hard cash. In addition to free broad base publicity in a down economy, this is a great opportunity for hungry and ambitious startups.

Thanks Jawwad. It is always a team effort.
We are starting this off with two categories but hopefully it will grow over time. We are really excited about the possibilities.
It is simple to enrol. Just go to http://pashaictawards.org/2009/10/04/wanna-win-us1000-at-psha-tech-crunch/ and fill in the details that we have asked for.
A set of judges will filter the initial entries based on the criteria and will notify the shortlised individuals that they are to pitch on the 14th of October.
